PATRICK MARATHON

Since PATRICK first appeared in Japan in the 1980s, this series has been popular for its colorful and stylish designs, as well as its light, well-cushioned, and comfortable feel that reduces fatigue.

Each season, limited edition colors are released, along with mesh models for summer, models with leather uppers, and variations using special materials.
There are no specific men's or women's models; all models are unisex and available in various sizes.

◆ Regarding changes in sizing due to manufacturing method changes

Period: Models manufactured from the second half of 2020 onwards (standard items will be changed sequentially)

The Marathon was one of Patrick's slimmest and smallest models. Previously, when attaching the sole, the midsole was first applied, then the outer outsole was stretched and wrapped around the front and back. However, from the second half of 2020 onwards, the manufacturing process changed so that the midsole and outsole are first bonded together, and then this combined unit is attached to the main body. This adjustment in the lasting process during manufacturing has resulted in a slightly more relaxed fit compared to the same model manufactured previously.

Additionally, slight changes have been made to the outsole design, with an increase in fine irregularities, making it less prone to slipping than before.
