Reprint USAF A-1 Type Engineer Sweater
A model that reproduces the design called "A-1 type" and "engineer sweater" used by airplane mechanics in the US Air Force.
It features a military khaki color and a design around the neck that looks like a mix of V-neck and shawl collar.
The shoulders, hem, and ribs on the sleeves are knitted with a different density than the body in order to increase durability.
The body is rib-knit with a lot of elasticity, and the cuffs and hem are slightly tight-fitting rib-knit.
The chest and upper arms are loose so that you can move easily while working, and the cuffs and hem are tightened with long ribs so that they do not get in the way.
You can see that the eyes are clogged enough to feel a little heavy when you hold it.
A separate fabric is sewn into the back of the shoulder area for reinforcement.
Middle gauge that is not too thick.
It seems that it is made with almost the same specifications and the same design as when it was used, but with the spread of infectious diseases from the spring of 2020, the UK suffered a greater disaster than Japan, and Kempton as a whole was forced to reduce production. In the midst of this, it was decided that the production of this model would be discontinued, and we received a request to purchase at a significantly reduced price. It's not cheap because there's a problem somewhere.
The number is limited, so please forgive us when it is sold out. There is no restock.
* Precautions for use: Hand washing is possible at home. Never use a dryer or hanger. (of course cleaning is also possible)
*British wool label says "British wool blend, 50% or more British wool", but this product uses 100% British wool. (This is how it looks like by default.)
* This sweater is intended for use in outdoor activities, and is knitted from wool that has been spun in a state where oils and fats, which are naturally contained in wool, remain in order to maintain cold protection and water repellency. At first, you may feel that the smell of oil and fat is like a beast.
(If you hold the main body tightly, you may feel a little oily content. This is the natural oil content of wool.)
The smell will naturally fade as you use it, but if you are concerned about it, please lay it flat in a well-ventilated place that is not exposed to the sun and allow the wind to pass through it for a while. I think that it will not be. (We recommend a state like dried fish open.)
The smell of oil and fat is also a characteristic of the product, so we appreciate your understanding.
If you are concerned about it, you can dry clean it, but we do not recommend it because it removes the oils and fats. We recommend washing with water or lukewarm water as described in the "Washing Instructions" enclosed with the product.

About Command Knitwear and TW Kempton quality labeling and product warranty
Since 1998, Suzuki Co., Ltd. (SUZUKI clothes store, fieldbranch, hereinafter referred to as our company) has been importing and selling only new products as a regular importer.
After receiving the goods, we conduct strict inspection based on our regulations, attach Japanese product quality and washing picture labels based on the Household Goods Quality Labeling Law, and then sell them with our own guarantee.
Selling imported products without Japanese quality labels is a violation of laws and regulations, and we do not handle them at all.

Command Knitwear and TW Kempton products handled by our company will be repaired or replaced free of charge for two years from the date of purchase only in the event of defects due to defects in materials or manufacturing.
