The "Tank" is a Tyrolean shoe design by CallagHan.
With its simple and universal design, it is easy to match with any outfit, looking great with casual styles as well as jacket styles.
The two-eyelet lacing makes it easy to put on and take off when untied, yet it maintains excellent hold while walking. The upper is made of soft, supple leather treated with oils and waxes.
The sole is named "Tank" and features a shape commonly seen on mountaineering boots; contrary to its appearance, it is lightweight, flexible, and offers excellent shock absorption, along with great bounce.
It also features ADAPTACTION technology, which allows the sole width to expand naturally by about 5-8mm under pressure during walking to reduce tightness.
The material is a patented expanded EVA that is highly wear-resistant (as a disadvantage of EVA material, it is less resistant to sharp, blade-like objects, so please avoid contact with such items).
These ergonomically designed features make it perfect for walking, as it reduces the burden on the knees where shock is easily transmitted, helping to make your gait smooth and comfortable.
The interior is fully lined with antibacterial, odor-resistant, breathable, and quick-drying microfiber.
◆ About the fit (generous)
The width, length, and height all have a roomy feel, which is different from slim-fitting sneakers. I typically wear size 42 in Patrick (excluding Sully/Marathon models), 26.5cm in general sneakers, and 26.0cm in leather shoes, and I found this model to be comfortably roomy at size 42 (26.5cm).
※ This product uses natural leather for the upper. Therefore, there are subtle differences in color, wrinkles, and texture between parts, and individual variations occur. As this product is manufactured in Spain, there may be slight surface irregularities, grain patterns, color unevenness, or wrinkles that do not affect usage. Parts that look like scratches are typically caused by the rubbing of the surface wax component, which can be blended in by rubbing with the ball of your finger. While this may differ from Japanese aesthetic standards, it is a testament to the philosophy of using resources as effectively as possible, and we kindly ask for your understanding.
Creases on the upper part of the heel are almost always present due to the process of removing the shoe from the last during manufacturing.
Minor adhesive residue is unavoidable and may be visible due to the nature of the sole bonding process.
The shoe box may be slightly deformed due to it being an imported product.
