REAL HARBESS

This belt is made by craftsmen using a lot of handiwork, using bridle leather that has been impregnated with vegetable tanned thick saddle leather (cowhide) used for horse tack.

The leather belt that connects the saddle and the stirrups on which the horse's legs are placed is called a "stirrap". We use leather that is highly durable.

The part that looks white is called "bloom", which is unique to bridle leather, and the wax and oil contained in the leather prevent excess moisture from soaking into the leather and prevent it from drying out too much. This is because it plays a role of both moisturizing and keeping the leather quality for a long time. The more you use it, the more powdered the leather will become and the more lustrous it will become. (Note: We do not recommend using it continuously every day as it tends to accumulate moisture.)

This belt has its Stirrup itself customized for each size.

As a remnant of Stirup, the engraved numbering is applied as it is so that the length (height) adjustment can be seen at a glance.

The buckle is made of nickel for black and brass for Havana (dark brown). Anyway, the sturdy leather is stiff at first, but the more you use it, the more it will fit your body and curve.

This is not a one-size-fits-all buckle, so please refer to the recommended waist size for size selection.

*Because of the manufacturing method that uses post-processed natural leather and includes a lot of handwork, there are subtle individual differences in leather color, wrinkles, color, size, etc.

There is a possibility of color transfer to clothing due to sweat or water.

Because the leather is extremely durable, we do not recommend using it on soft, fine-fiber clothing such as suits. It may damage your clothes.

In addition, there may be small scratches or color unevenness, but please note that this is a characteristic of the material and manufacturing method.

◆ Caring for the belt

Leather products that do not fade cannot be made with current dyeing technology.
There is a possibility of color transfer due to water wet or friction.
Please be careful when using it for light-colored clothing.

The care is the same as for leather shoes, and occasionally apply a thin layer of emulsifying cream that is colorless or lighter than the color of leather.
In the unlikely event that it gets wet or you think you have sweated a lot, please dry it in the shade and then apply an emulsifying cream. (Colorless recommended)
Never expose it to the sun or use a dryer or dryer.

Also, continuous daily use will result in build-up of moisture and constant friction, which will shorten the life of the product.

If you use it for a day, let it rest the next day and use it as a favorite for a long time.

◆ Belt coordination

As a general rule, match the leather color of the belt, shoes, and bag.
If one is black and the other is brown, it will give an inconsistent impression, so please avoid it.

In addition, I think that a belt buckle with a glossy finish is more suitable for dressy celebrations, and a belt buckle that is not too shiny (matte, etc.) is more suitable for unwelcome occasions.

If you are using metal accessories or a watch, you can create a cohesive impression by matching the color of those metals with the color of the belt buckle.

Returns and exchanges
