Malane
A special version of the Marathon with waterproof leather upper.

When the leather is dyed, it is impregnated with a waterproofing agent, and then the entire upper is made of leather that has been treated with a water-repellent finish, and even the sewing thread is water-repellent.
The color is matte and not too shiny, and the leather is very supple and soft.
Although it is unlikely that the inside of your shoes will get wet in a little rain, they are not completely waterproof like rain boots.
The shoelaces are thinly waxed, making them easy to tie and difficult to come undone, while also giving them an elegant look. The collar is made of pig leather, which is durable and highly absorbent. It is also soft to the touch.
To care for the shoes, first remove any dirt, then if necessary, protect the leather with an emulsified shoe cream and then apply a water repellent spray.
*About sizing: The Marathon was one of the slimmest and smallest models in Patrick's lineup, but the degree of suspension during production has been adjusted and it is now slightly looser than before.
*This product is made from natural leather that has been specially processed to give it a unique look and color.
Therefore, each part may have individual differences such as different leather colors and textures, small scratches, wrinkles, creases, and unevenness.
There will almost always be wrinkles on the top of the heel when the shoe is removed from the wooden mold during production. This is a specification.
There may be marks on the upper to guide the stitching accurately, but these will become less noticeable with use.
In addition, since it is unavoidable that some adhesive may splatter when gluing the sole, fine particles may be seen splattering.
Please note that these are due to the characteristics of the material and manufacturing specifications.

Returns and exchanges
Defective goods, wrong delivery, lost or damaged parcels, etc.: Although every effort is made to manage and deliver the goods, in the unlikely event of damage or defacement, please notify us by e-mail or other means within 7 days of receipt of the goods. All shoes sold in the shop are laced and inspected upon arrival before shipping. There are no products that are not laced.
We take great care to reproduce colours, but they may vary depending on the monitor or environment you are viewing them on. We ask for your understanding in the case of subtle differences in colour.
The shoes are manufactured by hand, so minute splashes of adhesive cannot be avoided in the manufacturing process.
In the case of products using natural leather, they are processed from natural materials that have actually been living creatures, and we cannot prevent individual differences in fine wrinkles, colour, texture, gloss, etc., or subtle differences between parts.
Products that are not in our stock, but have been ordered by the customer. Sale-priced items. Products that have been in our stock for more than 7 days. Returns, exchanges and order cancellations for products that have been tried on outdoors cannot be accepted.

Delivery times
Delivery is generally expected within 7 days of dispatch, depending on transport congestion and weather factors.
Taxes
Consumption tax in Japan is exempted, but the consignee (customer) is responsible for any customs duties and consumption taxes imposed depending on the transport area.
