Marathon 30th
This is a limited edition Marathon model designed to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the release of the Marathon White.
The design reproduces the prototype of the current "MARATHON," a road running shoe manufactured in 1978.
The shoe uses a sharp last that is slightly lower in the instep than a regular marathon shoe, and the velour on both sides wraps up close to the instep, creating an impressive design.
The material and shape of the sole are the same as the regular Marathon, but the shoelaces are slightly thinner and the insole is specially designed for this model.
The combination of a white upper with dark navy velour, vermilion lines, white and navy midsole, white shoelaces, vermilion outsole, and off-white collar. Same color scheme as the classic Marathon White. Limited production model.
*About the fit: Although it varies from person to person, the Marathon was one of the slimmest and smallest models in the Patrick lineup, but the fit during manufacturing has been adjusted so that it is slightly looser than before. This model has a slightly lower instep than the regular Marathon, but unless you have a very high instep, it is unlikely to make a difference that would require you to change your size.
* There may be marks on the upper to guide the stitching accurately, but these will become less noticeable as you use the shoe.
The upper is made of fabric so it may have wrinkles.
Due to the nature of the material, the velour part may show signs of wear or marks, as well as small scratches and uneven coloring.
In addition, since it is unavoidable that some adhesive may splatter when gluing the sole, fine particles may be seen splattering.
Please note that these are due to the characteristics of the material and manufacturing specifications.
Weight: Approximately 310g per shoe.
Upper: nylon velour (cowhide), sole: EVA and rubber. Made in Japan
