Original kip (1 year old calf leather) leather with an average thickness of 1.6mm is used for the upper. (Excluding some models)

The thicker the leather, the harder it often feels, but the custom-tanned "Negroni leather" does not feel stiff, and the natural grain (unevenness) gives it a beautiful surface feel and a smooth feel to the fingers. Used by professional racing drivers, "Negroni" = "driving shoes", so it seems that the image of driving shoes is strong, but in fact, it has sufficient cushioning, a wooden shape that does not constrict the toes, and a good burr.
