Marathon Leather Limited Upper
A limited-edition upper version of the popular standard model, "Marathon."
This model features goat leather with a metallic foil finish on the upper.
The natural wrinkles create a beautiful play of light and shadow depending on the light.
The collar is made of pig leather and it's combined with waxed shoelaces, offering both practicality and a luxurious feel.
It features a metallic navy upper, white lines, navy shoelaces, an off-white and black midsole, a black outsole, and a silver-gray pig leather collar. This is a limited production upper.
* Wrinkles on the upper are always present and vary between individual products, as this is part of the specification.
* Due to the highly glossy material, the actual product may appear different in color or shade compared to the images depending on the lighting conditions and type of light.
Care instructions: Since the entire leather is covered with foil, extensive care is generally not required. However, occasionally use a soft cloth, such as a towel or microfiber, to gently dust off dirt. If dirt adheres, gently pat or wipe it with a tightly wrung, damp cloth. Since foil peeling cannot typically be repaired, **vigorous rubbing is strictly prohibited.**
If using leather conditioner, standard leather conditioners will dull the shine, so please use a conditioner specifically for metallic colors (Note: this is different from conditioner for patent leather). Water repellent spray can be applied all over without issue.
* Regarding sizing: While individual perceptions may vary, the Marathon used to be one of Patrick's slimmest and most compact models. However, the lasting process has been adjusted during manufacturing, making it slightly more relaxed than before. This model, in particular, feels roomier because the upper, including the lining, is very soft, and the insole is a vintage type, which is slightly thinner than the regular Marathon insole.
* This product uses natural leather with special processing. Therefore, there may be individual differences such as variations in leather color and texture between parts, small scratches, wrinkles, grains, or unevenness.
Wrinkles caused by removing the shoe from the last during manufacturing are almost always present on the upper part of the heel. This is part of the specification.
Also, it is unavoidable that adhesive may scatter during sole attachment, so minute specks of adhesive may be visible.
Please understand that these are all characteristics of the material and specifications of the manufacturing process.
