Sizing for PATRICK models

Excluding some models, Patrick does not have separate men's and women's categories. Almost all models are unisex, with different sizes available for men and women.

※ As Patrick uses shoe lasts based on European inches, there is no official listing for 25.5cm for convenience of size conversion, rather than a 0.5mm pitch. For those who wear 25.5cm, we recommend size 41.

Size Chart

This chart compares the sizing of major models. They are categorized by foot length × foot girth. Since shoes have a complex three-dimensional shape, these are not specific measured values, but rather subjective feelings based on the author's opinion.

◆ About Shoe Lasts

Even if PATRICK models have different names or designs, some use common shoe lasts.
You might even think, "Are they really the same!?"

Also, the characters between the model name and the color name often indicate an abbreviation for the material.

From roomy to snug:

• Goose Bay Last: Goose Bay, Boise, etc.
• Jet Last: Jet
• Marathon Last: Marathon, Marathon-Leather, Sanger, Bronx, Nevada, Quebec, Boston, Solsona, etc.
• Stadium Last: Stadium, Iris, Pamir, etc.
  ※The Stadium uses a stitch-and-turn method, making it slightly snugger compared to Iris/Pamir.
  ※The only difference between Iris and Pamir is the material. Iris generally combines smooth leather and velour, while Pamir uses all smooth leather.
• Punch Last: Punch, St. Punch Hi, Robillion, etc.

◆ About Size Differences Due to Material

Even with the same model name, the fit may vary depending on the material.

From stretchy to non-stretchy:

• Mesh materials
• Leather materials
• Synthetic leather materials (artificial leather)
• Nylon materials (Cordura nylon is particularly stiff)

◆ About Size Changes Due to Insole Modification

Applicable Models: All vintage category items, Stadium, Iris, Pamir, etc.
Period: Models manufactured from the first half of 2022 onwards (standard items will be progressively changed)

PATRICK's average last is generally slender, but the insole has been changed to a thicker type with better cushioning that extends further towards the toe than before. Therefore, the same model and size manufactured after this change may feel snugger than those manufactured before.

According to the manufacturer, this change was made "to enhance cushioning for more comfortable use."

Especially for those who previously chose a just-fit size, or those with wider feet or high insteps, many are now choosing to go up one size.

◆ About Size Changes Due to Manufacturing Method Modification

Applicable Models: All models named Marathon
Period: Models manufactured from the second half of 2020 onwards (standard items will be progressively changed)

This was previously one of Patrick's slimmest and snuggest models. However, when attaching the sole, the previous method involved first adhering the midsole and then stretching and wrapping the outer outsole around the front and back. From the second half of 2020 onwards, the midsole and outsole are first glued together, and then this combined unit is attached to the main body. This change allowed for adjustment of the lasting process during manufacturing, resulting in a slightly roomier fit compared to earlier versions of the same model.

In addition, the design of the outsole has been slightly modified with increased fine irregularities, making it less slippery than before.
