This model uses the same last as Patrick's popular classic model "Punch," and combines high-quality, naturally textured Italian shrink steer leather with a voluminous foamed EVA sole.
The upper has a matte finish with reduced gloss, and while it's soft, it provides a firm hold on the foot.
The sole is very cushioned, as you can see, and despite its bulky appearance due to the foamed EVA, it is lightweight. As a characteristic of the material, it has the disadvantage of being slightly more slippery on smooth or wet surfaces compared to rubber, but I don't think there is a significant difference in durability.
The shoelaces are thick to balance with the substantial sole. The collar is made of pig leather, which is highly absorbent and durable.
The tongue and opening of the shoe are also padded, resulting in a very comfortable fit.
The overall simple color scheme, predominantly white, gives it a refined look and makes it very easy to coordinate with other items.
*Regarding sizing: This shoe uses a smart, long-nosed last with a narrower arch and lower instep. It's a slightly narrower model compared to other Patrick shoes. I usually wear a size 43 in models like the Sully, Capito, Stadium, and Dacia, and a 42 or 43 in the Marathon, and I found a size 42 in this model to be just right.
* For care instructions, please use an emulsifying shoe cream, just like you would for leather shoes.
Using waterproofing spray is also fine.
* The upper is made of natural leather that has been processed with a lot of human touch to create a unique texture. Therefore, the color and texture will inevitably vary slightly from part to part and from one item to another, and minor scratches, uneven coloring, wrinkles, and slight bumps are all part of the design.
There may be wrinkles on the heel from the manufacturing process, such as when the shoe is removed from the wooden mold; this is considered normal.
Because it is unavoidable that some adhesive may scatter during the sole bonding process, you may notice some minor scattering.
