MARATHON Limited Edition Upper Model
The "Marathon" is Patrick's long-time number one selling model, thanks to its lightness, excellent fit, fatigue-reducing cushioning, and stylish color schemes. This is a limited edition upper model of the Marathon.
The upper uses Cordura nylon. This material is very strong against tearing and abrasion, and the entire upper, including the stitching, has been treated with a water-repellent finish.
(It is not completely waterproof, and the velour parts are not water-repellent.)
The shoe features a light gray upper, gray velour, slightly thicker light gray shoelaces, and lines in white and charcoal gray. The midsole is off-white and gray-brown. It has a natural rubber outsole and an off-white collar.
* Due to the nature of the velour material, the color may appear brighter (lighter) or darker (deeper) than in the images, depending on the type of light and the viewing angle.
With its slender last and non-slip, wrapped-up sole, we also recommend it as a driving shoe.
* Regarding sizing: While individual perceptions may vary, the Marathon used to be one of the slimmest and smallest models in Patrick's lineup. However, due to adjustments made during the manufacturing process, it is now slightly roomier than models of the same type manufactured before the latter half of 2020.
* Marks for precise stitching may remain on the upper, but they will become less noticeable with use.
As the upper is nylon, it may have wrinkles. The velour parts may show scuffs, abrasions, small scratches, or color irregularities due to the characteristics of the material.
Additionally, it is unavoidable that adhesive may scatter during sole attachment, so minute adhesive scatter may be visible.
These are all characteristics of the materials or specifications during manufacturing, so we ask for your understanding.
