1945 The Original Sweater (BOND)

A crew neck sweater with a distinctive drawstring at the neck.
You can adjust the neck opening by tightening or loosening the string.

The shoulders and elbows are reinforced with fabric, and the cuffs are made of cotton reinforcement fabric instead of ribbing.
If it is too long, please fold it over before use.

The hem does not have a separate rib attached, but is simply folded over and sewn onto the body, creating a unique design.

This is a reproduction of the design used by the Royal Navy until the middle of World War II, which was the basis for the 701 and other models, and is a reproduction of the model that served as the inspiration for the sweater worn by Daniel Craig, who played James Bond in the 2021 film, "No Time to Die."

This model allows you to enjoy a rugged, classic British atmosphere.

The ribbing is weaker in tension than the 701, but it still has plenty of room to stretch horizontally.
The bust area is numerically narrow, but this is the measurement when not stretched.
Since it's a mid-layer, it's probably designed to fit the body.

Also, although this model is a UK size, it is unusually small.
If you choose a size roughly the same as your Japanese size, you should be fine.

*Caution: Hand washable at home. Do not use a dryer or hanger. (Of course, dry cleaning is also possible.) Because it is not made of fine wool like merino wool, we do not recommend wearing it in direct contact with bare skin, especially for those with sensitive skin. Wear it over long-sleeved underwear or a shirt.

*This sweater is designed for use in outdoor activities, and is knitted from wool that has been spun with some oils that are naturally contained in the wool remaining in order to maintain its cold-weather and water-repellent properties.Although this smell is hardly noticeable in this model, in some cases the smell of the oils may seem like an animal odor at first.
(If you squeeze the product, you may feel a slight amount of oil. This is the natural oils in the wool.)
The smell will naturally fade over time, but if it bothers you, try spreading it out flat and letting it air out in a well-ventilated, out-of-sun location. The smell should go away after a while. (We recommend leaving it in the same position as dried fish.)
The smell caused by oil and grease is a characteristic of the product, so we appreciate your understanding.

If you are concerned about the condition, dry cleaning is possible, but we do not recommend it as it will remove oils and grease. We recommend washing in cold or lukewarm water as described in the "Washing Instructions" enclosed with the product.

Costs for Exchange/Return

In cases of defective products, wrong delivery, or other issues for which we are responsible, all costs will be borne by our company.

Items that our store or the manufacturer determines are unavoidable due to the manufacturing process, production method, or material characteristics (e.g., minor scratches, dents, or color variations on products using natural leather) may not be accepted.

Important Notes

• All shoes sold in our store are laced and inspected upon arrival before shipping. There are no products that are not laced.
• We take great care to reproduce colors accurately, but they may vary depending on the monitor or environment you are viewing them on. We ask for your understanding regarding subtle color differences.
• Since shoes are manufactured by hand, minute splashes of adhesive cannot be avoided in the manufacturing process. Given the nature of footwear that comes into direct contact with the ground outdoors, please understand that minor adhesions are acceptable.

Our Definition of Unused Products

Products that have been tried on or tried on after arrival, taking care not to wrinkle them indoors.

For Shoes:

• After that, walk a few steps slowly to check if the heel lifts.

• For sweaters, jackets, outerwear, etc., please try them on over clean, thin clothing, being careful of tags, etc.

• Please refrain from trying on items such as T-shirts and socks that are worn directly on bare skin.
