Solsona Another
The Solsona makes an appearance again after a long time.
This model, which used to be a long-time classic, had a distinctive design with 8 eyelets at the top for ankle-lock lacing and a slightly square-toed tip. It now appears occasionally as a variation model.
While the sole differs from the classic Solsona, the sizing remains the same.
The last is the same as the Marathon, and the insole is the same as vintage series models like the Stadium.
The upper material, which has a moderate sheen and suppleness, is imported Italian steer leather.
The entire shoe is monochromatic, with pig leather used for the collar. The outsole is a Sperry-style (wavy) sole. The result is an elegant and classic look.
*Minor wrinkles and lines on the upper are specifications.
White upper, shoelaces, and stripes. Silver-gray pig leather collar, blue midsole, and natural sole.
For maintenance, after removing dirt, apply a small amount of emulsion cream and wipe thoroughly. Applying water-repellent spray is also fine.
If wrinkles appear in the leather and dirt in the creases becomes noticeable, apply water-repellent spray and, before the liquid dries, wipe it off by rubbing with a clean towel to clean it.
As a precaution, if it gets on the sole, it may accelerate deterioration or cause slipperiness, so be sure to wipe it off thoroughly.
*Regarding sizing: Almost the same as the new Marathon after the change in sole bonding method. Among Patrick models, it has a slightly roomier last.
It is not a slender, small last like the SULLY or KAPIT.
*This product creates a unique atmosphere and color by applying special processing to natural leather.
Therefore, there may be individual differences such as variations in leather color and texture between parts, minor scratches, wrinkles, grain, and unevenness, which are specifications.
The upper part of the heel almost always has wrinkles from being removed from the last during manufacturing. This is a specification.
Marks for accurate stitching may remain on the upper, but they will become less noticeable with use.
Also, it is unavoidable that adhesive may scatter during sole bonding, so fine scattering may be observed.
