A model made based on the design called "Guernsey sweater" that fishermen used during fishing on the island "Guernsey" on the border with France in the south of England.

It is said that the Guernsey sweater, which is said to be the origin of the fisherman sweater, has beautiful changes in the stitches that are said to have been woven to pray for a big catch. I have it.

(The original Guernsey sweater has details such as a neck design with no difference between the front and back, gussets at the neck and armpits, and a hem and slits without a diaphragm, but this model does not incorporate them.)

The neck has a high neck design that prevents cold wind from entering.

The cuffs are usually turnable cuffs that are folded back to your desired length, and thumb slots that keep the back of the hand warm when it's cold.

The body is loose and stretchy, and the cuffs and hem are slightly narrowed and long ribbed.

The chest and upper arms are loose so that you can move easily while working, and the cuffs and hem are tightened with long ribs so that they do not get in the way.

A separate fabric is sewn into the back of the shoulder area for reinforcement.

With the spread of infectious diseases from the spring of 2020, the UK suffered a greater disaster than Japan, and Kempton as a whole was forced to reduce production. It is a product that has been purchased in response to it. It's not cheap because there's a problem somewhere.

* If you look closely at the ecru, it may not be a solid color and may appear to be blackish stains, but the dark-colored yarn is visible on the surface, which is unavoidable due to the spinning and manufacturing process. Please enjoy the natural color and texture.

* Precautions for use: Hand washing is possible at home. Never use a dryer or hanger. (of course cleaning is also possible)

* The British wool label says "British wool blend, 50% or more British wool", but this product uses 100% British wool. (This is how it looks like by default.)

* Depending on the monitor environment used by the customer, it may look different from the posted image. 

* This sweater is intended for use in outdoor activities, and is knitted from wool that has been spun in a state where oils and fats, which are naturally contained in wool, remain in order to maintain cold protection and water repellency. At first, you may feel that the smell of oil and fat is like a beast.
(If you hold the main body tightly, you may feel a little oily content. This is the natural oil content of wool.)
The smell will naturally fade as you use it, but if you are concerned about it, please lay it flat in a well-ventilated place that is not exposed to the sun and allow the wind to pass through it for a while. I think that it will not be. (We recommend a state like dried fish open.)
The smell of oil and fat is also a characteristic of the product, so we appreciate your understanding.

If you are concerned about it, you can dry clean it, but we do not recommend it because it removes the oils and fats. We recommend washing with water or lukewarm water as described in the "Washing Instructions" enclosed with the product.

We take all possible care in product management and delivery, but if there is any damage or defacement, please notify us by email or other means within 7 days of receiving the product.

Costs for Exchange/Return

In cases of defective products, wrong delivery, or other issues for which we are responsible, all costs will be borne by our company.

Items that our store or the manufacturer determines are unavoidable due to the manufacturing process, production method, or material characteristics (e.g., minor scratches, dents, or color variations on products using natural leather) may not be accepted.

Important Notes

• All shoes sold in our store are laced and inspected upon arrival before shipping. There are no products that are not laced.
• We take great care to reproduce colors accurately, but they may vary depending on the monitor or environment you are viewing them on. We ask for your understanding regarding subtle color differences.
• Since shoes are manufactured by hand, minute splashes of adhesive cannot be avoided in the manufacturing process. Given the nature of footwear that comes into direct contact with the ground outdoors, please understand that minor adhesions are acceptable.

Our Definition of Unused Products
