The "Tanker" is a Tyrolean shoe design by CallagHan.
Its simple, universal design makes it easy to coordinate with any outfit; it pairs perfectly with casual styles as well as tailored jackets.
With only two eyelets, the shoes are easy to put on and take off when unlaced, while still maintaining excellent hold while walking.
The upper is crafted from leather treated with oil and wax, giving it a supple and moist texture.
The sole, also named "Tanker," features a shape commonly found on hiking boots. Despite its appearance, it is remarkably lightweight and flexible, offering superior shock absorption and excellent spring.
Furthermore, it features "ADAPTACTION" technology: when pressure is applied to the sole while walking, the sole width naturally expands by about 5–8mm to reduce pressure and discomfort.
The material is a patented expanded EVA, which offers excellent abrasion resistance (as a drawback of EVA material, please avoid contact with sharp, blade-like objects as it is sensitive to them).
Thanks to these ergonomically designed features, the shoes are ideal for walking; they help reduce the impact transmitted to the knees and make your stride smoother and more comfortable.
The interior is fully lined with microfiber that is antibacterial, odor-resistant, breathable, and quick-drying.
◆ About the Fit (Roomy)
The fit is generous in width, length, and height, differing from slim-fitting sneakers.
I typically wear a size 42 in Patrick (excluding Sullis and Marathon models), 26.5cm in standard sneakers, and 26.0cm in leather shoes. For this model, size 42 (26.5cm) felt comfortably roomy.

As this product is manufactured in Spain, it may feature minor imperfections such as surface irregularities, visible veins, color unevenness, or wrinkles that do not affect functionality. Areas that appear to be scratches are often caused by the rubbing of the surface wax layer and can be smoothed out by rubbing with the pad of your finger. While these standards may differ slightly from those in Japan, they are a testament to a philosophy of utilizing resources as effectively as possible; we appreciate your understanding and tolerance.
Wrinkles near the top of the heel are almost always present as a result of the manufacturing process when the shoe is removed from the last.
It is unavoidable that small amounts of adhesive may scatter during sole attachment, so slight residue may be visible.
As this is an imported product, the shoe box may be slightly deformed.
