Peregrine began as a hand-framed knitwear factory in 1796 on the outskirts of Leicester, an industrial city surrounded by rich nature in central England. It has been passed down and developed by the Glover family for eight generations, and is one of the few comprehensive men's apparel manufacturers that continues to manufacture almost all of its products in factories within the UK.
The Bexley Jacket is made from waxed cotton produced by Harry Stephenson of Scotland, which is water-resistant, windproof, and durable, protecting the body and contents of pockets even in bad weather such as rain and strong winds, in order to faithfully reproduce the functionality and taste of traditional British country wear.
Harry Stephenson is a textile factory based in the Scottish port city of Dundee that has been producing its own traditional wax cotton using natural ingredients with a low environmental impact since 1864.
This material softens when the temperature is high and stiffens when the temperature is low, automatically adjusting to the natural breathability of cotton, and the wax components that have been soaked into it give it water-repellent properties.
In addition, the more you use it, the more natural wrinkles and changes will occur over time, giving it a more vintage feel.
The design has been given a modern twist to make it look neat and tidy, and when you wear it you will feel an indescribable coolness.
The length of the garment varies from person to person, but it should cover your buttocks so that it doesn't get in the way when you sit down.
The sturdy front zipper is a double zipper that can be opened and closed from both the top and bottom.
There is a gun shoulder patch on the right shoulder and elbow patches on both elbows made of the same material.
There is a neck strap around the neck to prevent cold wind from entering, and tucks on the back of both shoulders make it easier to move your arms.
There is one exterior pocket on the chest and two on each side, each with a flap pocket with a hook and eye closure that folds over to prevent water from entering.
Inside, there is a large pocket on the back that can hold a 10-inch tablet (I think it would be nice to put a hand warmer inside during cold weather).
There is a zippered pocket on the front left and a 10-inch pocket on the lower front right.
Harry Stevenson's oil cotton has been improved over time to the point that it no longer feels so sticky or heavy, but as this product uses it throughout, it still has a stickiness and weight that you won't feel with other materials.

The only daily care required is brushing; washing is generally not possible.
If you feel that the water-repellent properties have decreased, you can restore them by reapplying wax every few years.
We re-inspect all products upon arrival and before shipping, but they are manufactured in the UK in a factory that follows traditional methods with extensive human intervention, so unlike in Japan, small details such as slight distortions in stitching or loose threads that do not interfere with use are often not a big issue. Please understand the characteristics of the product before purchasing.
