Iris konbu
This model uses "KONBUR-N," a material developed by Komatsu Seiren, for the upper of the IRIS. The texture and appearance are just like dried kelp.
This material has a crisp texture similar to thick canvas, achieved by swelling each individual fiber with a special solvent, which tightens the weave of the fabric and increases its firmness.It has excellent water repellency and abrasion resistance, and because it is firm and strong, when used in shoe uppers it prevents lateral movement, providing a very stable and comfortable fit.
The leather part is made of velour leather.
The collar is made of pig leather, which is highly absorbent and durable.
Like the Iris, this model is also lightweight.
With a rolled up sole and narrow width, these shoes are also recommended as driving shoes.

There may be silver marks near the stitches, but these are to ensure accurate stitching. They will naturally fade over time.
In addition, since some parts are made of natural leather, there may be individual differences such as differences in the color and texture of the leather (wrinkles, etc.) for each part, small scratches, wrinkles, slight unevenness, and the rubbing and marks that are unique to brushed leather.
Please note that it is inevitable that some adhesive may splatter when gluing the sole, so you may see some fine splatter.
