A long, relaxed nose. A smart wooden last with a low instep that doesn't feel too tight.
The Ezo deer suede used for the upper is so smooth and soft you'll want to stroke it forever, and it's incredibly comfortable to wear. It's hard to convey in an image, but Ezo deer suede is as shiny, soft, and beautiful as a baby's down, and once you touch it, you'll realize the difference in the fineness of cow skin and deer skin.
○ Why Ezo deer?
Even on the Izu Peninsula, where our store is located, the deer population has become too large, causing serious damage to the deer population, but Hokkaido is also facing problems due to an overpopulation of Ezo deer. We have been participating in a project to promote not only meat but also leather as a valuable product, and we asked them to be our model for this project.
I chose this color because I thought it would look great with gray pants or denim blue.
The subdued combination of wine and gray adds an elegant touch to your feet.
The shoes are made using the Goodyear welted method, and the sole is a luxurious rubber sole made with layered leather.
Because they are Goodyear welted, the soles can be replaced as long as the upper is not torn.
* As with regular suede shoes, we recommend cleaning them by brushing off the dust. (Waterproof spray can also be used.)
◆ The size is in British inch pitch.
We place emphasis on the heel hold, which is the key to the comfort of shoes, and use a slender wooden last with narrow width and height overall. The width is equivalent to about 1E. However, the fit is soft and the length is long.
For reference: I usually wear size 26.0cm 2E for business shoes, size 26.5cm for sneakers, and size 42 (26.6cm) for Patrick and Italian leather sneakers, and size 7.5 (26.0cm) felt just right for me.
