Marathon Leather Limited Upper
A limited upper version of the popular standard model "Marathon."
This model uses goat leather with a metallic foil finish on the upper.
The natural wrinkles create beautiful light and shadow effects depending on the light.
The collar is made of pig leather and combined with waxed shoelaces, offering both practicality and a luxurious feel.
The combination features an understated yellow-toned metallic gold upper, white lines, natural shoelaces, an off-white and black midsole, a black outsole, and a silver-gray pig leather collar. This is a limited production upper.
* The wrinkles on the upper are always present and vary from pair to pair, which is part of the design.
* Due to the highly glossy material, the actual product's color and shade may appear different compared to the published images depending on the lighting conditions and type of light.
Care instructions: Since the entire leather is covered with foil, extensive care is generally not required. However, occasionally use a soft cloth like a towel or microfiber to gently dust off dirt. If dirt adheres, gently tap or wipe it off with a damp, tightly wrung cloth. Since it is almost impossible to repair peeled foil, **do not rub too hard**.
If using leather conditioner, general leather conditioners may reduce the shine, so please use a conditioner specifically for metallic colors (Note: this is different from conditioner for patent leather). Water repellent spray can be applied to the entire surface without issue.
* Regarding sizing: While perceptions vary by individual, the Marathon was once one of the slimmest and most compact models in Patrick's lineup. However, the lasting process during manufacturing has been adjusted, making it slightly roomier than before. This model, in particular, feels roomy because the upper, including the lining, is very soft, and it features a slightly thinner vintage-style insole compared to the standard Marathon type.
* This product uses materials made from natural leather that have undergone special processing. Therefore, there may be individual differences such as variations in leather color and texture between parts, small scratches, wrinkles, grain, or unevenness.
Wrinkles are almost always present on the upper part of the heel, which occur when removing it from the last during manufacturing. This is part of the specifications.
Additionally, it is unavoidable that adhesive may scatter during sole attachment, so minute scattering may be visible.
Please understand that these are characteristics of the material and specifications during manufacturing.
