This is the "Submariner" model, which is actually delivered to the Royal Navy's Submarine Service .
Although synthetic clothing is now more commonly worn, it is still used as traditional clothing.
The overall knit is tightly knit, giving it a substantial weight (though not so heavy that it causes shoulder stiffness when worn).
The ribbing around the neck, cuffs and waist is much longer than that of a regular sweater, giving it a snug fit.
This prevents the cold wind from getting in and reduces the chances of it getting caught on something and making noise.
The purpose of this is to avoid interfering with work in the narrow space inside the ship. The length of the garment is also to prevent the lower back from getting cold.
The cuffs are not turnable cuffs (folded back to reveal the inside out), but can be folded to your preferred length.
Reinforcing fabric is sewn along with the main body to the shoulders and back of the armpits, where stress is applied.
The very distinctive and rugged design is a testament to its authenticity.
Rather than calling it clothing, it could be called fighting gear.
Ecru (off-white) is worn by most ordinary soldiers, while navy is worn by officers.
It can also be washed at home using natural soap.

*This sweater is designed for use in outdoor activities and is knitted from wool that has been spun with oils that are naturally present in the wool still intact to maintain its warmth and water-repellent properties. As a result, the smell of the oils may seem like an animal odor at first.
(If you squeeze the product, you may feel a slight amount of oil. This is natural oil from the wool.)
The smell will naturally fade over time, but if it bothers you, try laying it flat and letting it air out in a well-ventilated area out of the sun. This should remove the smell after a while. (Laying it flat to dry is recommended.)
Please understand that the smell of oil and grease is a characteristic of the product.
Dry cleaning is possible, but we do not recommend it as it will remove oils and grease. We recommend washing in cold or lukewarm water as described in the "Washing Instructions" enclosed with the product.

Command Knitwear and TW Kempton's quality labeling and product guarantee
Suzuki Ltd. (SUZUKI Clothing Store, fieldbranch, hereinafter referred to as "our company") has been an authorized importer and retailer of only new products since 1998.
After receiving the products, we carry out strict inspections in accordance with our company regulations, attach product quality and washing instructions in Japanese in accordance with the Household Goods Quality Labeling Act, and sell them with our own guarantee.
The sale of imported products that do not have Japanese quality labels attached is against the law, and we do not handle them at all.
・Warranty provisions
We will repair or replace Command Knitwear and TW Kempton products free of charge for two years from the date of purchase, provided that the defect is due to a material or manufacturing defect.
Please contact us first and send us the warranty card and tag that came with the product you purchased, the receipt or enclosed invoice, and the damaged product. (If you have lost the invoice, please contact us.)
Please note that in the following cases, repairs may be charged or we may refuse to repair the product.
- If you bring or mail the item without contacting us in advance.
- If the product is damaged due to use without following the instructions in the instruction manual.
If you have lost your warranty card
- If the wording of the warranty has been altered
- Items that have expired the warranty period
- Caused by natural disasters
- Damage caused by the user modifying or changing the structure or function
- Damage caused by carelessness on the part of the user, such as getting caught on something.
- Products caused by overuse outside of their intended use.

Delivery is generally expected within 3 to 14 days of shipment, depending on transport congestion and weather conditions.

To ensure you can immediately identify your items upon opening, we always lace shoes, fold the edge of packing tape for easy removal, pay attention to packaging orientation, and work daily with care to ensure you receive your items as pleasantly as possible.
