These casual yet dressy leather sneakers are made from thick, uneven khaki-green kid leather, with a subtle transition in color. The green of the leather cut and the brick-red sole stand out. They are also recommended for pairing with a jacket.
The curved stitching on the side is a special three-dimensional raised stitching called "Adramocha" that tightens the side line design.
The heel curve is large, which makes the shoe easier to wear as it conforms to the shape of the foot and provides a better hold. However, the steeper the curve (the closer it conforms to the shape of the foot), the more difficult it is to attach and remove the wooden shoe tree, which increases the amount of work required during manufacturing.
The eyelets are fitted with brass eyelets and combined with waxed round string, it creates an antique atmosphere while making it as easy to put on and take off as possible.
The sole is an "active walking sole" made of independent foam rubber, the same material used in studless tires, which provides excellent grip even on wet surfaces and has excellent insulating properties that prevent the temperature of the road surface from being transmitted inside the shoe.
In addition, the sole has just the right amount of cushioning without being too soft, and the sole pattern prevents lateral movement, making it a sole that is less tiring to walk on for long periods of time.
*The small hole in the heel is made when nails are hammered into the wooden last during manufacturing, and is not a hole for attaching a price tag. It is also proof of the authentic bench-made manufacturing method.
*For maintenance, we recommend using emulsifying shoe cream, just like with regular leather shoes.

We place emphasis on the heel hold, which is the key to the comfort of shoes, and use a slender last with narrow width and height overall. There is no width conversion, but personally, it feels about as narrow as 1E or D. However, the fit is soft and the length is long.
We recommend your usual Japanese size in centimeters (if your leather shoe size is smaller than your sneaker size, then your leather shoe size).
If you prefer a looser fit, please choose your usual size in centimeters.
(However, the leather may stretch slightly over time, making the shoes feel larger.)
For reference: I usually wear size 26.0cm 1E for business shoes, size 26.5cm for sneakers, and about size 42 (26.6cm) for Patrick and Italian leather sneakers. For HORMONE, size 8.0 (26.5cm) felt a little big, and size 7.5 (26.0cm) felt just right.

As a result, there may be slight individual differences in color and pattern, uneven coloring, and wrinkles. Also, due to the special stitching, there may be color markings along the stitching, but these will gradually fade with use and polishing. Please be aware of these characteristics before purchasing.
