Sanger Limited Edition
This limited edition model uses the last of the popular classic model "Marathon," but deliberately omits Patrick's signature two lines and instead uses stitching for the upper of the full leather model "Sanger." The upper is made from vegetable-tanned domestic steer leather that has been treated with oil wax and then buffed to create an uneven texture.
Each pair has a slightly different color and texture, and the matte colors that don't shine too much give them an exquisite antique feel.
Mostro apparently means "to transform," and it is a leather that seems to develop a richer character the more you use it.
The shoelace holes are fitted with brass eyelets and the shoelaces are thinly waxed, making them easy to tie and difficult to come undone, while also giving the shoes an elegant look.
This model exudes a chic, high-quality feel, featuring a soft, enveloping fit and an exquisite sheen.
With a rolled up sole and narrow width, these shoes are also recommended as driving shoes.
To maintain the leather, first remove any dirt and then polish with a clean, dry cloth to bring out the shine. Also, occasionally apply a colorless emulsion cream to protect the leather. Waterproof spray is also fine.
*What may appear to be scratches are in fact oil and wax components contained in the leather that have risen to the surface and moved due to friction. If you are concerned about scratches, you can quickly rub them several times with a soft, dry cloth (the frictional heat will melt them) and they will almost completely disappear, increasing the shine, but we believe that leaving them natural adds to the charm of the leather. These scratches are inevitable, so they are a part of the leather's design.
*About the size: This shoe uses the same last as the Marathon, the slimmest model in Patrick's lineup. However, because the upper is made of supple leather, the fit may be slightly different.
*This product is made from natural leather that has been specially processed to create a unique atmosphere and color.
Therefore, the color and texture of the leather may vary for each part, and there may be individual differences such as small scratches, wrinkles, creases, and unevenness, but this is a specification.
There will almost always be wrinkles on the top of the heel when the shoe is removed from the last during manufacturing. This is a specification.
There may be marks left on the upper to help with accurate stitching, but these will become less noticeable with use.
In addition, since it is unavoidable that some adhesive may splatter when gluing the sole, you may see some fine splatter.
